Honestly, I think you have to decide what you are looking for. Do you want a job where you are paid by the hour and you answer to someone else? There are some legitimate jobs like that. Most however, you will find locally. If there were a high number of legitimate positions available, why would people fight rush hour on a daily basis? These are truly far and few between. I work with women who want to work from home on a daily basis and have heard many sad stories of false promises, and money lost. The other alternative is more of a home business. When I first heard home business, I thought "No way, I don't have business experience." You really don't need it. There are many different companies you can work with. The thing is you work for yourself. You are not paid an hourly wage. The effort you put into your business will dictate what your income will be. The great things about this: you get paid what you are worth, often times you are paid on a residual basis, and you work on your schedule. There are many companies that offer a low start-up cost. I think you just have to decide what you are truly looking for. If you are looking for a job, then decide what you are good at, what is your passion, what do you like to do. Then contact local businesses around you and see if there is a position available to you. If you prefer to work on your own schedule, then again, decide what your passion is, what company can you truly stand behind and work with. I have 3 beautiful children and I have worked from home for the last 3 years. I help other people, usually moms to do the same thing. If you want to know more, you can ask here, and I will post a link for you to visit. I hope you find what you are looking for. I hated leaving my little ones and going to work, so I understand where you are coming from.

Depends what you are looking for?

Many of the menial jobs many people used to do from home, like envelope stuffing and putting all the dice and pieces into bags for games, are all done by machine now so there are very few companies requiring this sort of outsourcing.

Unfortunately this only leaves business like work, resellers, drop shippers, lead generators, or franchises and because there are so many people out there looking to make money from home, get out the rat race or earn a little extra there are so many capatilists ready to rip you off for a few quid, pyramid schemes, and generally farcical opportunities that it is very hard to find a legitimate one.

Would probably be best to go via a recommended body of home work suppliers or a review company, something like Which? who offer unbiased advice and direction on just about everything.

Rule of thumb, if it requires money upfront then dont do it!

I work from home for two companies. They are both very legit, or I would not still be doing them.In a nutshell, one is Passion Parties. I make great money doing this and if you're wanting a job that is fun and make great money, this one is for you.

The next I make side money, but it's free to sign up, with no catches. You can sell to whomever you want (yes, even eBay)

Both you can earn $$ from people you sign up under you. And both you need to be at least 18 years and live in the US or Canada. good luck with it!

Hi, are you good at talking to people about their problems, especially talking with parents about their children? There are many parents who would like to get help for tackling all sorts of problems they have with their kids, right from infants and toddlers to teenage children. They would welcome any assistance they could get.
If you think you might be interested in this sort of work, please write in.
