Currently I have black dress pants, black loafer shoes and a grey dress shirt (no tie). I've decided to wear something on top of my shirt but I'm not sure what or what colour. I was thinking a black Sleeveless Sweater, what do you think?

You are going to get graduation today it is a day to celebrate so Be formal an be energetic .Black dress pants, black loafer shoes and a grey dress shirt will be good .If possible wear a tie and a gown with that.

I think you should loose idea of sweater, it is excess. Find a suit and tie, or just go with shirt.
