to be honest, all music downloading is illegal, because as I well know, it costs an arm and a leg to record an album, plus it takes months and months of constant dedication - bands and artists don't just rattle out albums and songs every day, its an incredibly time and money-consuming business.
So to just find an online, free downloading site is a bit shameful, cos you're cheating the band/artist of the royalty percentage they deserve. I'm gonna give you the best program to download free music and vids, but I feel a bit better about it, knowing I've had my rant, and hopefully people reading this will realise the millions and millions and MILLIONS of dollars/pounds artists and bands lose by illegal downloading.
Anyway, Limewire is the worst program for downloading, cos its so easily traceable - the cops can find it anywhere, and you could face a long hard stint in a cell with a HUGE fine for illegal downloading. If you download "Ares" (just google it, find the site with "official ares" in the name) its free, quick, and much harder to trace by the cops.
Good luck, keep bearing in mind that you are cheating artists/bands out of the money they deserve.
