NO, but I doubt there is any company who's mission it is to "ruin peoples lives". I have a feeling you are bitter about your experience with some company but let me tell you as a business owner myself I would NEVER let a person go who is doing a good job. In spite of economic ups and downs the hard working loyal employees ALWAYS have a job. So ask yourself, what did YOU do to cause your problem? Be honest now .. did YOU cause your own problem? No company would survive in the long therm if their goal was to ruin lives...

Been there, done that. It's called sub-prime lending. Take people in a ton of debt and offer them enough additional credit that they can only afford to make minimum payments and are late even paying that if an emergency comes up. Then they can raise the rates and eventually offer you another "deal" with lower payments but paying much, much more in the end. I'd rather make less money and not have to act like I'm doing anyone a favor while I help screw them over.

First answer got it right.

Believe it or not, many corporations produce products that actually ruin peoples lives.

So, the smart thing to do is investigate and only buy from corporations that have a positive thing going for them, like a product that saves earth rather than pollutes earth.

It depends upon who's life I am ruining, If it is the devil's life, by all means why not, but if it is the other way around, without mental reservation of course no.
