I am also a temp and you get more or less depending on your experience..perhaps they have better typing skills, more relevant qualifications or simply have been temping longer and have a good track record with the temp agency. I've found you get offered more for longer contracts (2month temp etc)

On the other hand if you are receiving less than minimum wage obviously you have a right to complain there

None, unless you are male/female and all the other temps are of the opposite sex and doing exactly the same job as you - in which case you could claim sex discrimination - the same would be true if you could show you were being treated in this way due to race, sexuality, religion etc.

Otherwise employers are entitled to offer to pay what they think you will accept - you accepted it so you may have to live with it. (Or find another job)

I think none, as long as the minimum wage stuff is complied with.
Temps through agencies are not directly contracted by a firm... there link is only with the agency to provide a piece of work equipment (you) suitable for the task as described. Your beef can only be dealt with between you and your agency. And as they are acting as your 'agent' then you are accepting the recompense they are giving to you (or not) by continuing to employ there services (The agency is receiving a commision from you which they take out of th epayment from the firm before handing the remainder over to you.)

It's probably to do with differnet qualifications, more or less experience and time with the agency/company.

It might also be that the other temps have more responsability or technical aspects to their work.

You could discuss it with your agency, but you'll probably not get any more.

You are being paid less, because you didn't know how to ask for the going rate. Qualifications are one thing, but most often you don't get what you want or even what you think you deserve unless you ask for it. Consider this a learning experience.

Unless you are paid below the minimum wage the only right you have is to withdraw labour and go to another agency.

Alternatively it may be worth approaching them and asking them for the exta 75p per hour

Go back to your agency and ask them for the same rate.
The agency makes its money from YOU, if you deserve more money, they should pay you.

I'm afraid you have few rights, but you do have the fact that the agency needs you more than you need them.
