Aaliyah will always have a a loyal fan base but unfortuanately she did not make enough of a splash to leave a big impression. Her big break was still ahead of her - - - so sad that she did not make it - - - beautiful talented genuine Aaliyah is missed. Peace....

Aaliyah will be remembered by those that loved her music and I know I will be passing down my cd's to my son. He is 7 and already loves RnB. He will continue to pass on her music to the next generation.

I think they will. People have a funny way of keeping certain things alive. Look at Selena it has been 11 years and you still hear her muisic and you still hear people talking about her. Enough people cared about Aaliyah that I think her memory will be alive for a long time.

Probably with a great degree of difficulty, because she wasn't involved in a sensationalised murder, like Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. or OJ's wife.....

She was a talent yes, but not yet a superstar.....

funny you say that i just asked my son about her and damian dane yesterday. so i guess that answers your question. she mAD a mark in hip hop being a beautiful singer. just as they celebrated tupac as a legend and it bein 19 yrs since he departed i do believe they will do the same with aliyah. the way she went was memorable, yet in a horrific way

Yes, I do. At least her true fans will. I think of her fondly whenever I hear one of her songs on the radio.
