I can't beleive it ..... THIS IS SO DAMNED DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's the worst descision he's ever made!!

Why the heck did he have to quit?????????? How can he possibly quit just because of what others said??? I honestly feel awful now ... he was such a good player ... he could have played for atleast the next year's World Cup. I know Argentina lost and all but he's not the only one who's reponsible!!!!! If so whose been creating all those passes????
Lord Sorin won't be there Ayala won't be there and now he's quitting too ... this can't be happening .. Is he likely to change his descision????

No, I can't believe he's quiting! I feel sad for him that people are always blaming him for Argentina's performance at the World Cup, come on, it wasn't his fault, it was Pekerman's! This is bad news, because I really thought he would go on in internationals at least through the 2010 World Cup. Really, I think it is a rash decision, but he said he did it for the sake of his mother's health, so it makes it a tiny bit understandable. I think he just couldn't take all the critcism anymore and therefore decided to quit, too bad, because he's a good player and Argentina is going to miss him.

Yes. I think in two years time Riquelme will play again. He doesn't want the distractions of playing in the qualifying rounds of the World Cup.
-He'd rather concentrate on club football for now.
