Ohman, could be writing for an **hour**, because my husband is an incredibly mushy romantic guy....

But one thing that really sticks out in my mind is from when we were teens and dating. Watching fireworks, lying on a blanket on the trunk of his car, on the 4th of July....and it was a cool night----

and he just reached over, and pulled the blanket around me, automatically, to keep me warm and snug.

Talk about making a girl feel cherished, protected and special!

We've been married 29 years, and it just keeps getting better and better.

To me it was about three or four years ago when I fell and broke my leg at the shin and ankle ,there was a guy in so much pain of an appendix attack ,that he was rolling on the floor, before they came to get him but when he saw how bad I was ,he just came over and laid hands and we prayed together .and we both felt like we could bear the pain we had been expeirencing when it was time for them to operate on my he was suppose to go first yet ,he help to put me on the bed holding my leg with such gentelness thatIi never felt any pain then when I woke up after I was out of intensivecare I was put in a room with another girl and she was smiling and I said hi and she said someone must really like you your not even in your room or bed yet and you already have a dozen red roses and I was like where from whom this just happened my family is on their way then I thought maybe my son but as I asked only a guy came in with more flowers and said for you, when I read the cards they were from the guy who had helped me I was so happy to think a total stranger hasd bought flowers for me. when I asked the nurse if there was a way to thank the person she told me no iI don't think so , I wondered why then my sister told me the flowers had been sent to me by the austrailian singer who was in the same hopital as I was and he had help me then he had died on the operating table and had left a note to send me another gift of flowers to say good luck I was so sad for a long time and I have kept two flowers as momentos of a fine gentl person .

My husband did this for me actually during his RnR from deployment..

He first whisked me away to Jamaica - just the two of us. My parents watched my older son while we were there. One night .. he took me to our favorite secluded spot on the beach to cuddle in a hammock. Upon entering the room from our cuddle fest, I open the door and found the room lighted with candles .. rose petals all over the floor, on the bed and it lead into the bathroom with the same effect as well as a nice warm bubble bath. I will never forget that night .. It got me through the rest of his deployment that very special memory. Other little things, is daily every morning (he is home from deployment - YEA!) he kisses for my cheek and whispers he loves me as he leaves for PT @ 4:30 in the morning.

Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brilliant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

When my boyfriend asked me to marry him it was not what i was expecting for a proposal.

It went something like this. my cat walked out to where I was sitting and as I stroked my hand along his back I noticed he had something on his tail. Yes it was a ring.

I don't know about the romance part but I'll never forget the day my cat asked me to marry him. HEE HEE.
