It's easy. It's simply because he is a boy. Kissing a girl is something great for young boys, and it does not need a relationship. Sex also does not need a relationship. It is just a human chemical reaction to be exited of the opposite sex certain times.

either he's uber confident and thinks he can just make out with whoever he wants cause he's so cool and hot.... or..... he feels like he's not gotten near as much action as he would like to have for his age
