i have comcast as my internet provider, long time ago i had dial up (i hate it) but i am paying 60 plus?

what other options do you know are there for high speed internet ?
but one that does not interfere with my telephone? but cheaper than comcast?

you can go with DSL for like 15-30 bucks a month, but is three times lower than cable but like 3 times faster than dial up

DSL is about the only way to go. It's about 20 bucks a month. It's slower too so if you do a lot of really high speed stuff like on-line actions games you're gonna lose to cable users. In some places, the city government is offering high speed connections too, but it's not very common yet. I think Philly is the biggest city I heard that was planning it. I'd keep the comcast, call them up and ask if they got some cheaper packages to lower your whole cable bill.

at&t is offering 3 months free when you switch from comcast, plus only 45 a month for one year for 6 megabyte speed

You can look into wireless internet or LANs but the setup cost is very expensive to establish your network. There is also internet from some Satalite providers which I do not believe use your phone line but rather an ethernet cable similar to your phone but coming from the dish. Personally I have a wireless network and I love it.

they have a combo deal now -cable and internet phone for 33.00 a piece. Depending on your area that may be all that is aval.... Call em up- if they tell you the offer isnt aval to u- tell them ur canceling- they usually budge

Your phone company may have dsl- which is ok. There is satalitte but it is very expensive

dsl. unlike dial up, it allows you to use your phone and internet connection simultaneously. sbc at&t is cheap, it offers 12.99 a month, i think.
