Michael Schumacher has been champion for 7 times, 5 times in a Ferrari and twice in a Benneton.
Last year, the winner was Juan Pablo Montoya with Fernando Alonso second and Giancarlo Fisichella 3rd.
All engines are 2.4 liter V8 engines, except for the ones used by Toro Rosso this year (they kept an agreement made by Minardi with the FIA), which are rev-restricted 2005-spec V10 engines.
The other track that has hosted theItalian GP was Imola, in 1980.
The highest average lap speed is at Monza, over 260 kph.
Schumacher had 89 wins before this race.
40 points, because there are 3 races left, 4 plus the Italian GP, a win is 10 points and all the results are accounted for.
Schumacher's teammate in 2000-2005 was Rubens Barrichello (now at Honda).
Felipe Massa took pole-position in Turkey and won the race.
The last round of the championship will be hosted by Brazil, in late October. That is the circuit where Fernando Alonso secured his title last year.

And don't be so sure MS will make it 6 for Ferrari this year.
