The defecit as a percentage of GDP is pretty small - maybe 3%.

In WWII it was about 25%.

We have to spend on defense, and continue stimulating the economy. More economic activity helps, because tax revenues go up.

It's not a zero-sum game. More economic growth means the pie is bigger and we all can get more.

PS No one has refuted this with facts, just hurled snide comments and insults. Interesting, huh?

Bush believes that the deficit is a myth. We might have to wait untill a Democrat gets voted in the White House before the deficit is addressed

President Bush's logic follows: If Hitler used a world war to climb out of heavy debt, then why can't he use a world war to make a "killing". I hope that I am not one of the casualties, "collateral damage", for his plan to come to flourish.

We have two possible outcomes to his plan:

1. We fight until we control the whole Middle East and so we control the energy supply. We then buy ourselves out of debt.

2. We fight until we are dead or dead busted.

It's all or nothing ! ARE YOU IN OR OUT ?

There is none... and really, money doesn't mean anything, and hasn't since the US was taken off of the gold standard in 1971.

It's all monopoly money, and it's only purpose is to control YOU!

Hope you sleep better knowing this. G'nite!

hahaha... here's Bush's plan... if you don't count what we spend in Iraq, then we can actually have a surplus next year!

but, wait a minute? he wants to stay in Iraq? maybe even attack Iran? what kind of fuzzy math is this exactly?

I guess as long as your heart is in the right place, those that we owe money too won't mind... right?

hahahhaa
