for whom???
for shops???? concentrated shopping experience....increased exposure than in a stand alone shop.....in a good market, lower rent, lower operating expenses, lower insurance..in a bad market, however, these costs are magnified...
for the shopper?? [shopping] feeding frenzy and food courts
for teen-early twenty somethings....people watching, connecting, hanging , chilling, whatever...it's a place to congregate without a weather/darkness issue
for the 25-45 group...shopping for their kids
for the 45 and up group...nothing much...shops are generally not geared for that group
for the mall owner???? rent, rent, rent, and more rent
