My mother is abroad. Lately my father started acting funny so I watched him closely to find out that he's having an affair. Recently I called that woman and blasted her. How can I get my father to stop that affair? This is embarrassing coz I'm planning to get married next year.

try to think about this problem em pathetically. after the death of your mother, your father might have fallen in love with that woman because of loneliness. if his affair does not in any way cause damage to you, leave him alone. for get about it. go a head with your marriage plan.live separately.

It's unfortunate, but you can't get another adult to change his behavior for you...especially if he's your dad.

That said, you are certainly entitled to act as any other adult would, which includes (but is not limited to!) revealing the affair to any interested parties.

By the way, what a rotten situation. I'm sorry to read about it, and wish you the best in your future marriage. Good luck, dear.

Tell your mother? Or, best of all, don't do anything. Give him "the look" when you see him, and let his conscience kill the relationship for you. Children (no matter WHAT their age) should not meddle in their parent's relationship. Let them sort their own lives out, and you worry about your own.

Leave him alone, it's between your father and mother. It has nothing to do with you. In short, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!!!
