my biology professor says there is a substance with a higher specific heat than water.. what is it? i was thinking lithium, but he says it's not an element. thanks!

ammonia, ethanol glycerin,, most organic compounds are higher that water.. many compounds are more thermally stable than water,, even some that readily evaporate faster than water.
