For students who are not academically bright but have pleasing personality, street smartness and good English speaking abilities, BPO and retail industry has thrown up a number of opportunities. You can make a career in any one of these or many similar industries. For proper counselling, I suggest you attend counselling sessions being organised by CNBC Aawaz TV channel in many cities.

there are various options, Nitu .
1 ) if you like teaching - then do your PTC / B.Ed-M.Ed
do not stop in between.
2 ) if you like arts - then take up a course in acting / photography / painting / direction ,etc . ,
3 ) if you like computers - then take a shortterm course first to check this really , and then go for a long term course of programming
4 ) if you feel like not good for programming, then you can do a SAP course
5 ) if you still feel all the above is not working - then look at the option of bio-medics - like , nursing, - sales - back office sales administrationfor various insurance companies etc ,. .

The world is a stage for you provided you take it as one.You have mentioned till your puc you have ordinary grades.,do not REPEAT it in your graduation, study hard and get good grades.
Regarding getting a job, so many options are there it is for you to choose, there is IAS,Insurance sector,BPO sector, if you do GNIIT software industry is also very much attractive. had you mentioned your aspirations it would have been easier.

i read your problem,don't mind . A student has responsibility for there study,characters,behaviours, extra activity. study means not pass the examination. this is sweet poison and at time this the cause of unemployment,so don't Herta u i feel always motivated and fresh or start reading without thought the result.

it depends totally what u are interested in..............i am not sure about political sc, english literature is a good subject but a tough one, lot of hard work and a looooooot of research and reading
