Most people use an avatar. Am I missing some secret danger?

Nah, you're good. I only use my avatar because I'm too lazy to upload a picture onto my computer. I see a lot of people with their pictures posted.

lol I'm just joking. But you have to realize that everyone in the world can view you and your past questions and answers. I'd make sure you have your 360 set as private. Also, the people you know locally may be on and get a kick out of watching you on answers. I'd be careful what I said if I were you. It might come back at ya and not necessarily here on answers if you know what I mean. Most people show who they are through their words. Having to guess what these people look like makes it more fun anyway.

No. I think that most people just use their Avatar because everyone else does. Maybe that really makes the rest of us crazy?

it is your choice if you want to use a pic instead of an avatar! lots of people use thier pics and lots of people use avatars . personally i don't want to use my pic because i don't like showing people i don't know my pic! so i use an avatar! there is really no danger i mean how is anyone gonna find you from a pic. so as long as your carful about what kind of personal info you give out you should be fine!

No, not crazy, possibly unduly trusting. Before posting Anything Personal you should be absolutely assured that your system is well firewalled.
You need an Antivirus Utility, and and Antihack Utility.
To evaluate available software look to tech sites like PC Mag.com or PCWorld.com or Techrepublic.com.
Until your computer is firewalled, and UPDATED, it is probably prudent NOT to post anything personal.

No. Some people just haven't figured out how to put a photo up as their avatar. It just shows that you might be smarter than most.

Nah, I prefer the real pictures. Avatars look so generic and gay. And for some reason, they make whoever is asking look dumber. The girl avatars look especially air-headed.

I prefer a real picture. I wish everyone would use them. It makes the people you are answering or asking more "real".
