Run the water for a bit. It should stop. If it's a constant problem then call a plumber. You should only have this problem if the pipes are not used for a long time.

This usually only happens on private well system, and is usually caused by an air volume control valve going bad. It's the small round silver protrusion on the end of the resevoir tank. The replacement is simple. Shut off the electric to the pump, drain the system, unscrew the line to the pump and the valve from the tank, reassemble the new valve to the tank and the line to the pump. Reprime and away you go. (I have the same problem with my well system.)

You have to "bleed" the lines. Somehow air is in where water should be, so check your reservoir tank after the pump and locate the 'ballcock' valve . Open it and release the air until water starts to come out.Remember air is lighter than water and will always rise to the highest possible area.
