I'm not trying to sound like a perv or anything. But seriously, why is it okay to show someone getting their brains blown out or someone getting their head chopped off, but showing nudity on tv is a big deal. I was watching "Blade the Series" on Spike and they showed a guy get his bottom jaw ripped off of his mouth, you could see the whole thing. How is that allowed on tv, but showing a nude woman is unheard of. Personally I find the blood and guts more offensive.

Because Americans have their values all screwed up. Sex is obscene even though it hurts no one, but violence is acceptable. I guess these values go back to our early Puritanical roots.

You need to get the Independent Film Channel. They are showing the film Human Nature with a naked Patricia Arquette.
The reason it is not on Spike TV is because they are an action channel for men who like action films. You would be better off on FX which has shows like Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck. Those shows fit your taste.

I am female and i don't see why it is such a big deal to show a naked body on television, well, if anyone has heard of the show Queer As Folk, you will understand my disgust as to why the hell they play this on television and can't show a naked female...
I'm not saying that i don't like gays or anything, well, I'm bisexual, so that's not it, i just don't get why they can show 2 men having sexual intercourse on t.v (And it's not tasteful, it's a little too graphic) but the can't show one naked female...
I just don't get it, this subject makes me really mad, so i will sign off by giving you a thumbs up for liking naked women...

It's the double standard thing. Violence is ok, but heaven forbid TV show a naked body. Grow up network censors we were all born naked.

maybe it is because when someone getting there head blown up or anything gruesome, it is computer graphics, and completely fake, and a naked woman isn't. And it isn't illegal to show brain matter etc on TV
