Jeffrey Bernard wrote a column for the Spectator. When his drinking habits got in the way of his column, the Spectator posted a note Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell. It became the name of a play starring Peter O'Toole as Bernard.

The Coach and Horses at Greek Street, Soho, London is a public house frequented by columnist Jeffrey Bernard, the staff of Private Eye magazine.
The interior of the pub was recreated on stage for the biographical play about Bernard's life "Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell."
Its landlord was Norman Balon until 22nd May 2006 then he officially handed over the pub to the new owner Alastair.

Beware the prices if you go in there though - it's an unreasonably expensive pub.
