intervals, and who was wearing a back brace which makes it impossible to bend his back from perfectly verticle had to get through a 5-feet tall doorway in order to escape a housefire while wearing perfectly tailored Brooks Brothers trousers with a 30-inch inseam, what is the minimum number of holes the crutches would have to be shortened and how many degrees would he/shee have to bend the hip with the one leg, a pegleg, for the top of his 4-inch afro would barely graze the top inner edge of the doorframe?

The only important piece of information left out is the accident in which he lost his-her leg also severed his-her other leg right above the kneecap, and thus, the pegleg will not bend.

Riiiiiiiiight...

Well, the salient points:

6 foot tall, so 72 inches
crutches at 1/2 intervals
5 foot doorway (60 inches)
4 inch hair
And assuming the 30 inches floor to hip.
And assuming that thirty inches doesn't bend, that leaves 20 inch clearance to the door.
And assuming the afro is spherical... that gives a right-angled triangle with one short side 20 inches, and hypotenuse 46.

Trig from here, the angel is arccos(20/46), which a calculator gives as...

64.2 degrees

You really don't need to know his age. If he's 6' with a 4" Afro, he needs to 'reduce' his height by 16 inches. That's 32 holes in the crutch.

Since he has a 30" inseam, and assuming his femur is the same length as his tibia and fibula, his knee will have to be bent at an angle calculated by the law of cosines as
14² = 15² + 15² - 2*15*15cos(Θ)
or Θ = 55.64° and his hip will bend at the suppliment of one half that (since it's an isoceles triangle) or 62.18°.

You ain't anywhere *near* bright enough to screw with this old mathematician ☺

If you lose 10 pounds then you will be in your normal BMI. You can lose the weight easily by doing any type of cardio 3 times a week for 30 min. Also watching what you eat may help.
