Step 1: Leave the boy
Step 2: Go to store and purchase spackle, spackle knife or trowel (for spreading spackle), sandpaper, and paint that matches the area around the whole. If it's a bitgwhole, you'll also want some of the wall tape that's usually located right next to the spackle. This will likely be under $30, or under $15 if you just improvise for tools and only go with the spackle, sandpaper, and small paint sample.
Step 3: Sand the edge of the hole so it's smooth. Use the wall tape if the whole is big & deep (avoids having to fill that all in).
Step 4. Apple the spackle smoothly and evenly. Let it dry. (Don't put a huge amount on at first. You're better off doing a few "coats" of spackle instead of going crazy with just one coat--just do some light sanding between each spackle coat.
Step 5. Sand the spackle after it's dried. And paint the area. Let the paint dry.
That's it. It sounds more complicated than it is. It should take < 30 minutes to complete (and most of that time is just the waiting for things to dry.

EASIEST way is to stick him in the hole !!! To repair it : Locate the studs on either side of the hole. Cut a 2 foot x 2 foot square in the existing wall. Screw a new piece of drywall into the opening. They sell 2x2 sections of drywall at Lowes and Home Depot. BE SURE THE DRYWALL IS THE SAME DEPTH AS YOUR EXISTING WALL. ( 3 / 8, 1 / 2, 5 / 8 etc... ) Using spackle compound and joint tape, seal the seams of the patch, using a spackle knife . Three coats are standard. Sanding between each coat. The object is to smooth the compound over the tape so when it is painted the patch won't be visible. Don't be afraid to spread it over a 12 inch area of each seam. The wider , the flatter. It helps first timers if a desk or chest of drawers can be moved in front of that area of the wall.

Is this the boyfriend with the drug problem and no job? I wouldn't even bother asking him to finance the repairs - I'd get him out of your life and be thankful the hole in the wall was the only thing he punched.
In the meantime, hang a picture over it or put up a poster to hide the damage and seek out a friend who knows something about plastering

First DUMP the boyfriend .. good thing it was the wall and not your head he punched. As far as the repair goes you could follow some of the suggestions others have made OR just tell your parents that you have DUMPED the deadbeat and why and offer to pay to have THEM help you take care of the damage ... they will probably NOT "kill" you but rather be proud of you for recognizing that the deadbeat boyfriend does not deserve you!!!

If you go to a hardware store they have a thing called "Spring holder" It will cover the hole with a plastic which has a door then it will open and close. Why did your boyfriend put a hole in the wall?

This guy has anger management problems. See Ya! Please lose him. Cover the hole with any old thing you can find....painting, poster, spare piece of plywood - whatever. The true problem here is yer man - Get Rid Of Him. He will eventually be hitting you instead of the wall. Buh Bye!

It can be fixed..but you have to slam his head through the wall next to it...that way his head mark will leave more of a hole than his fist, which will be a distraction.

Hang a picture over the hole. Dump your "killer" boyfriend. Save up for a handyman to come fix it. If he's a cutie, you may be on your way to a new boyfriend.

First you need to leave him, because that could be your face next time. You do not need to be with someone that will get that angry he will distruct your property. He does not have that wright. That is someone that doesn't want you to have anything. But anyway you can puddy it, go to Home Depot, or Lowes they will tell you exactly what to do, or go to www.google.com and type in repair a wall with drywall.
