Woods. No doubt. Federer has to maintain his champion status for a while to make an attempt to have a similar record like Tiger. Tiger has a bright record with longevity.

Federer. Let's see, he has won 9 out of the last 16 grand slam tournaments. Woods has won 9 out of the last 26 grand slams. Federer has won 4 consecutive Wimbledon titles with only dropping 5 sets. In comparison, Sampras dropped 14 sets over the same time period. From 2003 - 2005, Federer set a tennis record by winning 24 straight finals. The previous record was 12. Woods has 53 titles in his 10 year career, Federer has 48 in 8 years so they're pretty close in that respect.

In my view, Federer. I base my argument on the fact that this guy never seems to exert himself (unlike, say Ivan Lendl) who ever is his opponent. And accepts the rare defeat gracefully. But never loses a single point without a fight. He is just too good to be true. Better than the Mc Enroes.
