I have a Linksys wireless router with two different laptops. I want to lock the router so that no one else but me can use it.

enable the WEP on your router and configure the laptops with the WEP you enter, also you can configure your Ip (only static) or Mac address for more security, only this computers will receive internet

As per the first 2 answers use encryption if available - WPA2 is best then WPA and last WEP. The other method you can use as well is to MAC address lockdown the access point down to only your 2 laptops - also once connected and working you can (from the access point) turn off SSID broadcasts.

You can use MAC authentication: a process in which you can enter in the MAC addresses for the two laptops. That way, only the two laptops will be able to access the router.

Change the name of your router, enable wpa or wpa personal and change the password from admin to ?????

Use WPA if it's available. WEP keys are trivial to crack if you know what you're doing.
