Why is white people the first to hate?

Have u ever noticed that white people is the first ones to hate on someone else? Yes, I am white but to me everone is the same. I hate it when a white man hates on a black man! How does everyone else feel?

Yes meme and its true mostly because of association of the color white with everything good, true and right. White is considered as peace and enlightement and black as evil. I think this stereotyping has extended too literally to the color of the skin and has given white people a false sense of superiority. Its so deep in psyche that even well educated and seemingly liberal whites also have that subconciously

What are you talking about? Hate can work both ways. It is because of the stereotype that the white man hates everyone that questions like this happen.

You probably think that the white man invented slavery.
You probably think that the black man is the only one that has suffered.

You probably think that the Irish never suffered by the British for centuries.

You probably believe that Blacks in Africa never owned black, Arab or white slaves. No that never happened.

You probably believe that Blacks in Africa never sold other blacks in the slave trade.

You probably believe that there is a Caucasian college fund.

You probably think that Lincoln was righteous when he forced the immigrating Irish to fight in the Civil War. They deserved to die they were white.

You know your right. I think that reparations should be payed to all the African Americans that live in the United States. That way it will set a precedent for me. I can seek reparations for what the British did to the Irish and what the Protestant United States did to the Irish.I will be rich!

My feeling? This is one of the kind of questions that drives me bonkers. SOME white people hate, SOME black people hate. But the notion that one group is 'the first' to hate is absolutely off the wall. You may be basing this on your own perception, but that's all it is, your perception. It isn't a fact. It isn't proven. It's never been studied. And comments like this do nothing to improve relations between the two groups. Surely you can put your mind to some more productive thought than this.

Where did you ever learn phraseology like 'hate on' someone?

Actually, that is not true at all. It's humans that hate, not black, whites, Arabs, and so on. I have heard and seen all different races hate on each other, its not like we have Vulcans running around hear. See, the reason you see or hear whites hate more than others is because that might be in contact with white people more than other races. Also the media tends to blast anytime a jerk white guy or girl does something inappropriate or wrong.

I think you are wrong, personally. White people know all too well how quick we get called 'racist', so most of us don't say s***- it's just for the better that way.

What exactly are you basing this claim on? Have you looked at Y! answers? It seems to me on this site anyway, the hate seems to come in from all sides.

I hate when people hate on people for no reason. People are just people, and if you say "to me everyone is the same", then why, in your next sentence, you define race-"when a white man hates on a black man?" Doesn't matter. Some people just suck, regardless of their ethnicity. And that's that.

I am also white but i don't think that whites are the first to hate and i don't think blacks are the first to hate. people in general hate and most of the time they are not really sure why they are hating on someone or something else. you are really brave to put a question like that on here.

Actually I noticed that black people tend to hate first to me, they may even hate there own if they are involved with someone white. But I believe white people hate behind there backs,but blacks are more straight forward, its really sad how society is.

I think white people are intimidated easily

theres centuries of countries like England that throughout history "colonized" and ruled over other minorities that carried over to america when it was considered ok to slaughter and enslave Native Americans, Africans, and spanish people.

Now the world is balancing out into a shade of brown and it scares white people. And other than having the advantage of America being run by white males, white people as a whole are not superior and may be infact inferior to most all other races mentally or physically. Its like a defense mechanism to cover up for that
