I've been on birth control for a long time and I always get my period at the exact same time each month, but is it possible to be pregnant and still get regular periods?

Yes, it is possible. My aunt had regular periods for 5-7 months during all 3 of her pregnancies. My best friend got pregnant while taking birth control and had regular periods until her fourth month when she found out she was pregnant and stopped taking the pills.

You are actually incorrect regarding when you can get pregnant. You CAN ONLY GET PREGNANT when you are about to/are/just after you ovulate. There is a maximum of 5 days per cycle you can actually conceive which is from day 11/12 - 15/16 of your cycle. That said, as not everyone has regular cycle therefore if you are trying to avoid getting pregnant, then as a back up you should not have unprotected sex at anytime, although during your period is probably the best time.

I guess the first thing I need to know is how pregnant are you? If your at the end of your pregnancy then it's called spotting and you need to get checked as something could be wrong in there. If your not at the end then it could also be a sign of something not quite right with the baby so rather be safe than sorry, I would go get checked by your doctor!!

I don't think that being pregnant and having periods is something that is usual, but I guess it could happen. The best thing you can do is go to see your obgyn and find out if you are pregnant, and then deal with what could be causing you to keep having periods.

Hi dear
well thats really not possible that you are preg and still having period.
womens have thier periods every month so the undeveloped feotus is thrown out of body but if you are preg then baby develops in this feotus.
So you stop having periods.
I think this would have answerd your question

Yes you could be it does happen but not very often. Maybe more so If your periods have been very light lighter then they are normally. My Grand mother was at least 5 months pregnant with my mother and did not know about it.

I guess it is possible. But it sounds like if you have regular periods then you are not and it will be easier to tell if you are because you periods can become irregular. Since you are regular if you become irregular then you know that someting is wrong

It is possible, though not very common. It is also possible to be on the pill and get pregnant!

MY MOM HAD HER PERIOD FOR THE FIRST THREE MONTHS WHEN SHE WAS PREGNANT WITH ME. BUT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR THINK YOU ARE PREGNANT I SUGGEST YOU GO TO YOUR DOCTOR AND MAKE SURE THAT IT'S ACTUALLY YOU PERIOD AND NOT SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BABY. -GOOD LUCK!

yes it is possible and more common than what people think, i suggest to do a pregnancy test and if negative go to your local gp and find out, it could be a hormonal change.
