The exterior portion, the upper part not the lobe is red and swollen. It feels kinda warm to the touch. There's no pain but it's really itchy. Help! :(

Probably an infection or you might have a sore or pimple on the inner part of your ear (not in the canal but close to it). Either way it can cause an itch and the scratching makes your ear red and warm. If it carries on go to a clinic or the family doctor.

Check to see if there is a 'head' that would indicate some sort of bite or sting. Outside of that, it might just be a simple dermatitis. Apply some cortisone cream a couple times a day for up to a week, and it should go away.

Have you been on a cell phone for a few hours with the phone pressed to your ear? Otherwise may be an infection...if it continues see a doctor!

Sounds like a bug bite. Put Benedryl cream on it three times a day.

Allergy... I would bet from an insect bite while you were asleep (I suspect a roach). Have it checked by a doctor, at any rate. And resist the temptation to scratch that itch.
