Teens often get more tired due to hormonal changes in their bodies. Also, you could be low on iron. I would suggest you have your iron checked. You should also be on a multivitamin. There are multiple reasons for extreme lethargy (tiredness). You should be seen by your family doctor to rule out any illness.

You could be have thyroid problems.Or might not be getting enough iron. Or might not be getting enough sleep at night. Or could be stress out or worried about something. Or could just be depressed. Any of these reason would make a person tried.

Am not trying to be a smart butt.I would try and go to bed at lest 9:30 if it's a school night.I know it can be a bit early at least you will be relaxed all day.

well its completely natural. whn u feel tired, u sleep, its perfectly allrite wit your body. millions of people all around the world do this and its natural. So dont worry your body is growing up and defiently need more rest.

get checked! could be sleepapnia,narcolepsy,or another sleep disorder have some testing done ,really its important to find out now while young,you owe it to yourself,call the Doc. Make an appointment asap.

If you've had any stressfull situations occur recently, then that may be part of it. Make sure your drinking plenty of water to rule out dehydration and get plenty of sleep. Also try deep breathing and stretching.

if your eating a lot of junk food this could be making you so tired not getting enough sleep the night before also could be the reason.

well duh... think about it dear. you come home and sleep three hours. so when you should be in bed, your not tired. so your not getting enough sleep at night. you cant sleep, so it is late when you fall asleep, your not getting enough sleep at night. skip the after school nap and go to be earlier.
