I think with technology what it is ; they should use a life-sized cardboard prop and recordings of his voice.They can also give the models walkers & wheelchairs. During the commercial break, everyone can drop their meds in unison.
That wouldn't be too far from what tis like now

No, I'd rather it be some homeless guy that they pick up off the street--rambling on about how the end of the world was last week and who smells like rancid vomit.
Fabio will never be what Bob is. Maybe Regis... it seems fitting.
