This is a funny question. Not all Americans love Japan nor Japanese culture. I suppose it's the same for Japanese people loving Americans and American culture. Some do, some don't. For the Americans that do love Japan and the culture, I would think different people like it for different reasons. Some may like the food, some may like the geography, some may like the social aspects, etc.

well not sure what janpan is maybe japan//because the japanese r more family oriented//because they r a pure race//but i wish u'all were never influenced by us americans//i read that stomache cancer has increased by 40% since the fast foods invaded japan//i am a chef and sushi is my favorite//sea urchin/sweet shrimp//and also we r becoming such a mixed race people in the us//we r losing r past//////

I appreciate Japan because of the lovely people the culture seems to create. The crowded, insular nation seems richly blessed with hard-working, honest people. I did not truly the appreciate the concept of personal/national honor until I learned it from the Japanese.

The TV, Movies, Music, Fashion, Technology and Food all rock. All Japan is missing is some more openness and women's rights and it would be the best country.

I've never been to Japan, but I think a lot of people are really interested in the culture because it's so different than ours.

I love Japan for their extreme superiority in electronics, master of electronics. Japanese people are generally great in math and technology.
