I heard that baking soda drives roaches nuts and makes them sick and it can get rid of roaches in you home. Have you tired it and did it work?

You'll have to trust me on this one. Been there done that and it works like you would not believe. It beats every spray, bomb, and boric acid remedy that I tried. Here's the key...you have to cut the baking soda with sugar. The roaches can't tell the difference. Eat the baking soda and explode from the inside.

Recipe:

2 parts - Baking Soda (ex. 2 cups Baking Soda)

1 part - Sugar (ex. 1 cup Sugar)

Shake it up and put it behind cabinets, countertop, and the like.
Within two days, you won't have problem.

Big roaches are a real problem here in western australia
Ive tried everything over the years, only thing that works for me is keeping my house very clean, never leave dishes till the next day etc.
Then I buy a really really good roach barrier spray and spray it around all the outside door frames and floor, windows and anywhere else i think they might enter, it works great
U can tell when it wearing off cos they suddenly appear then I just spray again. It lasts for months a good barrier spray. Plus the one i use wont hurt my animals

I am in the same boat as you. I have been doing a lot of research about how to get rid of these disgusting things and I am seeing a lot about baking soda mixed with sugar. I am going to give it a try at least. It is a much more inexpensive than what I have been using with no luck, a lot less harmful too!

Boric Acid (powder form) is very effective against roaches. Just sprinkle it around the areas where they may 'come out'.

It's Boric Acid, not baking soda.

Nope, it's borac acid. It tears them up inside. A little goes a long way.
