Very Aggressive, but to succeed and accomplish the missions and tasks. Aggressive and competitive is what makes America strong. The meek do not succeed...as the saying goes, poor sales people have skinny kids.

Do not confuse Aggressive work ethics with back stabbing. Get the job done, and right, with integrity, do not compromise your morals and ethics to get ahead.

Aggressiveness to succeed starts before you work. Doing what needs to be done to get yourself prepared and in the career is important. Doing what is required, beyond the norm to be the most qualified, is a sign of aggression and a sense of duty. Another reason why veterans from the military get hired so often over others.

There no longer exists the "everyone gets a trophy, we are all winners, no losers, try your best" attitude. This is why so many of today's youth grow up to never succeed, and break when they enter the "real" work world.

Maybe not aggressive.....perhaps more competetive and creative with a quality / product / skill / trait that puts you ahead of the rest. I think ethics gets one a lot further than aggression

Being assertive is far more helpful than being aggressive. People are far more willing to help you reach your goals when you are respectful of them. The site below has a great list of actions to help you understand assertiveness versus aggressiveness. Per the site below,
"Assertive people state their opinions, while still being respectful of others. Aggressive people attack or ignore others' opinions in favor of their own. Passive people don't state their opinions at all."

Unfortunately, yes. I hate that. I'm a nice, passive, friendly person. But there is too much competition and there are so many folks out there that are cut throat. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Not necessarily aggressive, but you need to have initiative, and be strong enough in character to not let people walk over you.
