Absolutely not!!!

Beside IQ test never proved to be an exact way to measure intelligence. If your worried about a recent IQ test you've taken. Take it again. Result may vary greatly for day to day depending on your mental state at the time you took the test.

I've met people with supposedly scored high during IQ testing and could never finish any kind of studies.

Your dedication and willingness to learn is all you need to succeed at anything in life!

In my experience, no matter how smart you are, if you don't have the motivation and will power then you won't succede. I do great on IQ tests and standardized tests, things like that, but I just can not make myself go to classes. I wish I had more discipline. I see people who are a lot less intelligent that myself succeding because they work hard. High IQ is often a detriment to a successful college carreer.

I'd say that you can get through college with an IQ of 80 with lots of hard work and an easy major.

No- IQ scores, while tested reliably, only measure a small part of a person's knowledge and intelligence. Higher education is more specific to each person, so that one is able to find something they are good at and enjoy, which has very little to do with an IQ score.

So naturally, there are people with higher and lower IQs than that average.

IQ just means that you're good at math. Persistence and drive are way more important for success in college and graduate school.
