I'm in high school and im wondering if i should go pre-med or something else to better my chances of getting in. I'm a 3.6 GPA student taking mostly adv. classes...

You can choose any major you want. Med schools say that they like to see applicants with other backgrounds. Your decision should be based the subject matter that you will love. Don't just take it because you think that is the subject they are looking for (i.e. biology and chemistry).

Keep in mind, that regardless what major you choose, most med schools require 1 year inorganic chemistry, 1 year biology, 1 year organic chemistry, and 1 year physics. Therefore, if for example, you are a psychology major, you still must take all of these advanced science classes, which will not count towards your major. Persuing a double major is a way around this. When you get to college, you don't have to figure this out on day 1. Start taking the classes all freshmen have to take (english composition, math, etc.). Then seek out the pre-med advisor EARLY. Don't wait until you're a junior.

If you do not make it into med school or change your mind, you will have an alternative career route. Also, MCAT scores and other activities also influence med school admissions.

To be honest with you there isn't an easy way to get into medical school. The competition is very intense. Keep up your grades and take as many advanced classes as you can handle.

Keep your grades up and get into a good undergraduate school, major in premed and get really high grades. From what I hear, med schools are competitive so you need to stand out.

you are still in high school. You are doing the right thing. Talk to your parents about what college you should go to for pre-med or biology classes.
