It's about time.
But I understand the cycle of an abusive relationship and abused women.
Maybe she finally said enough is enough and got some self-esteem.
But then, it's only a "separation", and I think it's probably for publicity purposes.

The fire was gone between them along time ago. There's no more sparks left to keep the fire going. Sticks and Stones don't rub anymore;( They've been burnt to bits by all their drug problems so after 14 years they just can't take the pretending anymore. So, Astalavista Baby!

I was VERY VERY happy!!! I was ecstatic!! Bobby didn't deserve Whitney. She was beautiful, talented, refined, elegant, and had a good head on her shoulders BEFORE she met that trashy mother f*cker. I can't stand him!! He corrupted her and ruined her career. I am soooo glad she FINALLY left him. She was too good for him... I hope she can finally get herself cleaned up so that she can reclaim her career and lead a better life. Hopefully next time she will find a man that's more up to her level....

Some one finally got smart after 14 years and filed for a divorce. It was a shame to hear them living in such a no good, fighting, drugs, and especially with childen it was the right thing for them.......

It's about time. I'm sorry, but I liked her when she was "wholesome". She lost her mind and her soul when she stayed with him. She was the most talented singer I knew and a pretty good actress too, but she allowed his corrupt ways to change her. I just hope she finds God again. It would be a shame not to hear that voice again.

surprised,I guess. What was the point of sticking it out all these years then waiting til their daughter has seen and heard so much crap to finally smarten up and leave his sorry butt? Can you imagine what their daughter has gone through? Bless her heart.
I hope Whitney sticks to it and escapes the insanity for good.

I think it's just a publicity stunt. I don't think she will actually go
through with the divorce. Once her new album comes out
they will get back together. She just wants the public to believe
that she has cleaned up her act.

Its about time. But she really only filed for a separation...not a full divorce. Regardless I hope she sticks to her guns. She used to be so talented and glamorous until that fool ruined her. Do I smell a "Whitney (im off crack) come back tour"???

sorry to say that they are both crazy and it was bound to happen. he feels that his carrer is taking off and she doesn't like to be pushed out of the spot light. they are messed up and I hope the children can handle a split. Maybe if they split they can slow down the drug use
