Malyasia is a developing country. Good life for expats, natives are less fortunate. Mahathir Muhammed made it a modern muslim nation.

For Indians very easy destination to get a tourist visa........poor rich Indian can visit a foreign country is Malaysia and Singapore .

Most beautiful country in South East Asia with plenty of beaches. friendly cosmopolitan people, wonderful ethic cuisines, inexpensive accommodation, natural charm in jungles and the list goes on & on. Need to be street wise, though.

I was looking at it 3 year ago because of business my parents would have moved up their for 5 years but my dad did not take it.
It is beautiful there, laws are to stick and punishment other then that it is not to bad.

I think of the draconian incidence of hanging people after being sentenced for graffiti, adultery and smoking pot. The death penalty. Censorship of the media, secret police and filthy rats scurrying down most streets of your capital city.

ive been to kuantan and it was pretty good as long as you stick to city areas dont go near slummy suburbs. Steer clear of sandakan completely it is a dead set shite hole
