After the first sentence: Giant waves taking over our cities, earthquakes putting huge cracks in the ground, snow covering the country.
After the third sentence: The ice in the polar regions is melting, changing the planet in many different ways: (I am not that knowledgable in this area, so you fill it in).
Hope this helps!! Good luck!

This is pretty good, just a few suggestions...(I didn't see the movie, just assuming that it's about global warming)

Imagine a world just like "The Day After Tomorrow," the movie where...
This isn't just a fictional scenario; global warming has become such a threat to our world that other concerns pale by comparison. Recent studies have shown (if this is a paper where you have to cite studies, make sure you quote and cite them correctly, and name the specific studies) that global warming is causing radical, dangerous changes in Earth's climate. As a result, we face the possiblilty(ies) of ...list consequences of global warming here... Don't say "the following paragraphs will explain..." just jump right into the rest of the paper. Good luck!

Imagine a world just like the one shown in the movie “The Day After Tomorrow”. With the threat of global warming ever increasing war will be our least concern in the years down the road. Studies show that global warming is causing a radical change in earth’s climate. As our Earth's climate continues to change more radical weather events are contributed to this event. As the world focuses on its wars and spoils one wonders when will it turn its focus to its ability to have a future?

or something like that.

dont ever use, the following will tell you. an intro is suppose to do that, intro your topic not say yeah ok im going to write about xyz.

Imagine global warming causing radical change in earths climate.Increasing -(earthquakes, title waves, tides, temp....etc. >chose two<) will soon be our biggest concern. Scientific studies are helping us to understand the following effects of global warming.
-just try and cut out some of the run on, and don't make ref. to the day after tomorrow," maybe talk about continents sinking into the sea, Or radiation and heat causing famine and cooking every body. Not everyone can reference that movie. So just use 2-3 sentences to paint the picture.

Global warming a threat or a warning? Recently, the planet Earth has been undergoing may dramatic changes caused by human activities. Global warming issues have caught the attention of major scientists around the globe. Researches show that the average temperature of the earth has risen to _____(do the internet search and fill in the figure here) which is one of the causes for melting glaciers in the Atlantic Ocean.

(now write on other global warming effects. Like this you don’t have to do a comparison between the movie and global warming and focus your topic on global warming. Pls do change the first para to your writing style, it is just for your reference)

REMEMBER to add more Statistics & facts (could find them on the internet)

Good LUCK!

I won't write it for you, but I can give some suggestions. What is your thesis statement? and what is your purpose? ( informative, persuasive, humorous,or what?) Once you figure that out, the rest of the paper tends to fall into place.
For example, if you are going to compare the world to "Day after Tomorrow" continue the comparison throughout paragraph with specific examples. Then the rest of the paper could discuss the validity of the comparisons.

The sentence about increasing war is awkward. Save it for another paragraph or paper, it is making the paragraph choppy by itself. I understand what you are trying to say, but are you really going to write a paper which keeps comparing the dangers of war to dangers of global warming? Well, maybe you could. If so, strengthen that sentence into a thesis statement.

A simple thesis statement could be " Global warming is _________." (you supply the adjective) Then cite the main arguments to support your statement ( political, ecological, environmental, economical etc.) In later, paragraphs expand each point into a full paragraph. Hopefully, you have plenty of research to help you flesh out the paper.

Good luck, and thank heavens for word processors!
