you guys realize you are in the beauty and style section, RIGHT. idiots.
and seriously, the dude that told her to worry about important things...she is on YAHOO ANSWERS...a website....since when is THAT important...well to anyone w/half a life, at least. who cares what someone thinks of you by what you type on a ...WEBPAGE. bleh.
to answer chicas question. i would go for hair, taking good care of your hair is important. you could always fake the funk on clothes and still look fantastic doing it. ;-)

I do have a limited budget. I choose to spend my money on regular hair cuts and highlights. My work and weekend wardrobe has many items I have found at the local second hand stores..

I think that your hair is more important...cause you can make name brand clothes look really good (if you know how to dress) but if you leave your hair all in a mess...no matter what shirt you have on it will still look a mess..so that is my opinion

I think you should take that money and give it to someone who really needs it.
Screw the brand name clothes
Screw the maintaining a good hairstyle
Screw the color of it as well
Stop being so OBSESSED with how you look and worry more about what you sound like when you brain wants you to say OR TYPE something............
Worry about something that REALLY matters

I think you could were a potato sack, but if you have a good hair style and color you could pull it off.

i have both but when i couldnt afford it i didnt have either if you got the money do as you wish but when you dont just make do
