Sophia = Wisdom
The book "Pistis Sophia" is a collection of writings and teachings of the Gnostic's, who were scattered by Roman soldiers during the first century

I'm not sure what you're asking but,,, Catholics traditionally reject the idea of gnosis. It's part of their "salvation through our doors" philosophy.

Now if you're inquiring as to whether there is gnostic wisdom in the bible, yes it is rampant throughout some areas and devoid in others. In general, one has to be familiar with Gnosticism to pick it out.

From Luke

20Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within[a] you."
