I think excedrin is the best, but it has caffeine in it, so don't take at night. But if you take it in the daytime, not only does it kick butt on headaches, but makes you feel peppier, too. Make sure you aren't suffering from hormonal migraines-my migraines included nausea, vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and noise. I went to an accupuncturist and that totally wiped them out. An accupuncturist could help you with hormonal headaches, too, probably.

Yes, hormonal headaches can feel like migraines and the best, absolute best med is EXCEDRIN MIGRAINE with caffeine.
I've taken prescription stuff that doesn't even come close to this!
I've just run out and am in Italy and I'm in a really bad mood from my headaches!
Hope it helps :)

This used to happen to me. Now I'm on birth control pills, and I skip the 7 inactive pills and start a new pack right away so that I dont have a period. My doctor suggested I do this and my headaches have disappeared, and now I dont have to go through the hassle of a period.

Yes--today I had a headache so bad I had to rest on my bed! I take ibuprofen, which helps with cramps too. But nothing beats laying down with the lights off and a cool cloth on your forehead if you have the time.

I get headaches right befor I start as well. It could be hormonal thing or could be that you are under a lot of stress.
