my husband and i have been talking about getting back together and he is scared of his parents and we thought if he got his own place first then maybe living together would be next, we r going to fill out an application for an apartment for him where i live behind their backs what do u guys think? we need some help here lol.

my mother in law was a major reason for are divorce. get the place. get setteld in then invite them over for dinner

If you're old enough to get married... you're old enough to not have to answer to his parents. Do they just dislike you for hurting their son, or an unknown reason?
It sounds like he's the one that needs the encouragement to stand up for himself, without his parents' interference.
Perhaps show them that you've learned from your past mistakes, and ready to move on. But don't let them stop you from doing what you both feel is best for yourselves.

well- have the issues been resolved that tore you apart?? And plans for prevention and repair been followed through- pretty important- scared of his parents? don't play games- is there a good reason to be scared of his parents- do they think y0u are not good to or for him?? Be honest with yourself and him. Take care-D

I can see his parents took some part in all of this???
I would openly tell them what you are doing he's a man not a little boy cut ties with them if they make things worse.
And you should date and rebuild your relationship etc good luck
