I was playing Soul Calibur 3 today, and all the sudden it said that the file is corrupted and it wants me to delete the file. So, I'm wondering, can my save data for other games that are on that card be copied to a new memory card, or is all of the data on that card corrupted? And how can I prevent this from happening again, besides making back-up copies on a different card of every single game's data? I have a slim PS2.

if the game data on the memory card says corrupted on everything, the only thing u can do is to delete everything if it will even let u, i lost one of my memory cards to corrupted memory, it wouldn't let me delete them, don't move them to another memory card, it will just take up space.

The same thing happened to me, if you can erase the file, do it! you would have to restart your games. If not you have to get a new one.
