I want to give a journal (blank) as a gift. It has to be stylish, durable and under 100 bucks. Where can I find it (the website)? The person I will be giving the journal to collects many quotes and information so a journal would be perfect.

I'd recommend trying an Art Store. Dick Blick is a very popular one, and they have a good on-line catalog. Here is a link to their journals:

Many of these are "drawing" or "art" journals, but can work well for writing too. Because they're intended for drawing, they're often available in much larger sizes. It might be better to get a smaller one though, if your friend is more of a writer.

Because they're oriented more towards artists, you'll get a different selection that you would at another kind of store. In my opinion, the journals you can find at art stores tend to be a little less frilly and cheesy, with more of a focus on quality of paper. They come in many varieties, including some that are "bare bones", others that are leather bound, etc.

Also, chances are your friend will enjoy making sketches, even if they aren't an "artist". It could be a great bonus to have quality acid-free paper (that doesn't yellow with age).

There are some wonderful homemade journals on eBay...and most are very reasonable....check there first, I would say.
