I would definitely recommend trying scrapbooking, but be warned, this hobby is extremely addictive. The possibilities of your scrapbook pages are endless as there are so many products to choose from to create with. Scrapbooking is great for preserving photos, stories and memories for your present and future family and is a great creative outlet. This is a hobby that will continue to grow strong as we will always be taking pictures of friends, family, etc. until the end of time.

It would have helped if you had included some of your interests, if you like animals the SPCA is always looking for people to help out, if there is an aquarium or zoo close to you they are also always looking, if you have a soft spot for older people volunteering at a senior's home would be good, if you prefer children then try to get approved to volunteer at a children's hospital or the local library for story time. The list is endless but the key usually is in volunteering, you help someone else and they help you.

You can try rubber stamping and scrapbooking. I personally love it because it is a great hobby that I enjoy and you are actually accomplishin something as you do it. I like to use Stampin' Up! products, but there are tons of places that you can get great supplies. If you would like some advice on how to get started or want to talk about it further, please e-mail me I would be glad to help you out.

Knitting! I've been knitting for years, and love it. It takes a while to get going, but afterwards, it's so rewarding. You can look at: www.knitty.com to see the knids of things you can make, and also, I taught myself to knit from this site: http://knitting.about.com .

Collecting is fun, especially when you buy some thing on e-bay that is difficult to get. When my wife bids on a coin, she waits to the last second and puts in her bid, it can be very exciting.

Mainly that would depend on what you like to do....but i'll suggest solitaire-that has always been a good time waster. or Tetris. Um, or you could take up birdwatching or something.
