The timing is controlled by the computer and is not adjustable. The "crank angle sensor" is not moveable. Removing the timing cover is not necessary unless the timing chain is worn out.

yes.
I assume you mean the cam timing and not the basic ignition timing. First use a timing light then if that is off use a GM Tech 2 scanner and check cam sync. If you have neither,
Hook up a labscope to the cam sensor and to the crank sensor and check sync.
What is wrong with your car???????

no there isn't the timing is computer controlled ,if you haven't messed with the timing chain and gears than leave it alone unless the chain is worn
