If it is for a scar, see your physician for hydroxyquinone..that is a pharmaceutical skin bleach. If it is a fresh scar, avoid direct sunlight and chemicals. Cover it..no matter what, with an appropriate bandage and again...see your doctor. I went bodysurfing once, and my head went SLAM, right down on the coral rocks. I had three impact points on my forehead that made me look like I had the mark of the beast on me. I was scared that I would go through life with these aberrations. The skin did heal, and the use of cocoa butter over a few months removed the sign. DON'T GO SMEARING COCOA BUTTER OVER A FRESH SCAR...LET IT HEAL.
I really don't think that you are looking for light skin as opposed to your own radiance anyway. Why do you think people try to get darker, tanning?
Just my opinion, but it looks better.

they have bleaching creams. i think there is one called "ambi". it's used for scars and for skin lightening. but honey, really think about it. do you want to do that to yourself? i'm sure there ain't nothing wrong with the way you are right now.
