I had my baby 3 months ago and I been having a funny discharge after this pregnancy still its a light brownish discharge. But my question is could it b/c I have a uti but I pee fine and it dont burn I just have a funny smell thats it. I have had a uti and bladder infection in the past but I just can't figure out if its just from me having my baby. I do have apt tomarrow but just wanted to ask somone before I went in. Thanks

oh and ever time I go to the bathroom and I wiped there is that brownish dishcharge and smell.

yes I have been working alot of lifting and bending also sex too lol.

I did have another c-section and I also had to get 4 units of blood b/c my uteres didnt start to contract.

Could be nothing. Could be something. Glad you are getting it checked out. It's possible that you have some other form of infection. It is also possible that you had a tear from the birth that didn't heal correctly called a fistula.

The loccia -- discharge after pregnancy -- should stop by about 6 weeks after the birth. If you are breastfeeding, there would be some hormonal reaction, but it should not be brown.

I am glad you have an appointment tomorrow because it sounds like you need a work up for infection and sexually transmitted diseases.

That's normal after you give birth. First it really heavy then it lightens downs then it will be like a brownish discharge the pink then yellow. It will last longer if you are working yourself to hard or if you are having sex.

I don't believe that it is normal for 3 months!!! I had a slight discharge for a few weeks not months. I am glad you are going to get it checked out. I am sure it won't be anything big. Good luck.
