I have lost my internet explorer box for web sites https:// how can I get it back?

I went to view, toolbar, status, explorer the only one that has a check mark is status and I can't get the other two to do anything.

go up to 'view' then toolbars, status bars, and explorer bar...make sure theyre all still turned on
