You'll need a Torx 20 screwdriver to open the case, and a Torx 10 driver to do anything inside the case (such as removing the hard drive or DVD drive). You should be able to pick up a set of Torx drivers from your local hardware store or similar shops like Sears.

turn it upside down and the stickers on the bottom of the console take a screwdriver and place it on every one of the stickers and softly move it around on the stickers if you find a soft spot thats where one screw is take it out and check for more undreneath the stickers there are only 2 screws beneath the stickers one at the top and one at the bottom then to find the rest the feet on every corner take a flatheat screwdriver and pop them off and the last of the screws are there and once that's done its open. Note: the screws are not flathead nor philipshead screws but use a phillipshead screwdriver it will work if it dosent then try different sise that should do it. (Don't do this unless your warrinty wore off cause this will void it.

if u want to just open the disk tray all you have to do is press the open button and hit it on top right above the disk tray. it should open right when you hit it. this has happened to three xboxs mine and my cuzins, it worked on all of them. if you want to open the whole xbox then listen tok that other guy
