Find out why she wants a divorce. It sounds like she still feels comforted by your presence and is scared to leave. If it is because of something you did, she may very well forgive you if you agree to counseling. If it because she is having an affair or is being tempted to start one, you may be able to win her back but it's difficult and you may not feel she's worth it. If she has other reasons for wanting a divorce, you may or may not be able to do anything about it, but you'd at least know.

What is wrong with you?

Why would you let her sleep with you and then say 'you can't touch me?'. Have you got no balls at all??
Who wants the divorce? Why? How did you meet and how long has the marriage been? What are the other circumstanes? Kids? Money problems? Communication problems? Difference in education or career?

No rules in this life! Haven't you noticed that? What's right for you may not be right for the next person but do what ever makes you happy. I'm so sorry to hear of such a thing after twenty six years of marriage! That is a very unusual request after that many years together. That would probably ROCK my world after that much time together then all of a sudden they are gone. It would kill me.

You are NUTS NUTS and NUTS. Kick her out of the bed. if you are that poor and cant get a lawyer then this means that you dont have much to loose. You can alkso file your own papers for divorce if its uncontested and depending in what state you live in and I REPEAT.If you dont own much or anything that you both wont fight over. If its her fault then file quick and take it all and try to get as much of no matter how little you bith have..........

Maybe you should suggest marriage counseling, because if she REALLY really wanted a divorce she wouldn't be in the same house with you. Try just to see what she says about trying to work things out, what have you got to lose?

she is either super sick of you or she has someone else .hence the ''don't touch me '' . she sounds like she is biding her time by staying with you for some reason. maybe the bf is married and she has no where to go if she leaves you . you can file for divorce and do it over the internet fo free

Is she just not happy with you any more.
26 years to me is along time to be with someone and call it quits.
Then sleep in the same bed thats crazy.
I would ask her why she is sleeping in the same bed with you If she dont want to be with you anymore.

Yea... if she wants a divorce, she should act on it instead of toying with your emotions and continuing to use the lack of money as an excuse to have a head over her shoulders.
